Blizzard cancelled Blizzcon 2024 due to unknown circumstances that are yet to be disclosed. They made an official post on their website revealing that they are holding Blizzcon this year.
Why Blizzard Cancelled Blizzcon 2024?
In the official post, Blizzcon didn’t reveal the actual reason for the cancellation of the event. But promised to arrange the event in upcoming years.
“While we’re approaching this year differently and as we have explored different event formats in the past, rest assured that we are just as excited as ever to bring BlizzCon back in future years.” Blizzard Said.
They also said that the company sharing more details about their upcoming launches later this year including World of Warcraft: The War Within, Diablo 4’s first expansion DLC, and Vessel of Hatred.
But “To bring our communities together in new and special ways, we will soon share some exciting plans for other industry trade shows and conventions like Gamescom.” said in a statement.
Blizzard refused to tell the exact reason behind the withdrawal of Blizzcon 2024.
But are looking forward to the Overwatch Champions series, Dreamhack Dallas, and Dreamhack Stockholm Projects.
